What we collect

When you create an account

Your name, email address and phone number.

When you book a puja

The address where the ceremony will take place, the date and time, and which puja and samagri package you chose.

When you order products

Your delivery address, phone number and what you ordered.

When you pay

Nothing sensitive. Payments are handled by Razorpay, and card details never reach our servers. We store only a payment reference so we can match a payment to your order.

Automatically

Server logs recording IP address and pages visited, kept for security and troubleshooting.

How your password is stored

Hashed, never in readable form. Nobody at Bhagyodya can see your password, and we will never ask you for it.

Why we use it

• To carry out your booking or deliver your order.
• To share your name, phone number and address with the panditji assigned to your puja, so they can reach you and find the venue.
• To send booking confirmations, receipts and delivery updates.
• To answer your questions when you contact us.
• To keep records we are required to keep.

Who we share it with

• The panditji for your booking — name, phone, address and puja details.
• Razorpay — to take payment. Their own privacy policy applies.
• Courier partners — name, address and phone, to deliver your order.
• Our email provider — to send you transactional email.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Cookies

We set one essential cookie to keep you signed in and to remember your cart. It is not used for tracking or advertising. [If you later add analytics or advertising pixels, list them here.]

How long we keep it

Account, booking and order records are kept for [retention period — e.g. 7 years for tax records]. Server logs are kept for a shorter period.

Your choices

• Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything wrong.
• Ask us to delete your account, where we are not required to keep the records.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and payment data never touches our servers. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable measures to protect what we hold.

Children

Our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
